The combination of hydrology, ecology and engineering has resulted in the smart design of a fish guidance system that changes the water flow and directs salmon past power plants. 

This report provides an overview of simulated power price data generated by the FanSi and EMPS models in the research projects SumEffect and HydroConnect. 

Several PhD positions in hydropower are available at the research center RenewHydro. We aim to modernize hydropower and find innovative solutions for environmental impact, electric power, climate effects, infrastructure, and economics.
